I am Taelynn, a professionally trained wedding and portrait photographer living in the Rocky Mountains near Cranbrook, British Columbia. When I am not out with my camera you will find me with my beautiful family horseback riding, camping, or hiking.
My passion lives in helping you feel comfortable, confident and genuine in front of the camera. I enjoy getting to know who you are ahead of our session so that I can portray your story authentically. I want the whole process from start to finish to feel natural and fun. I enjoy living in the moment and being prepared and ready to go rather than rushed.
I love those moments after a session when my clients see their portraits for the first time and feel more confident than ever. When they are able to see their natural beauty shine through the portraits that showcase their genuine story.
I strive to make everyone feel welcome and change up my sessions to accommodate differences in personality and abilities. I refuse to exclude someone because of their uniqueness.
I strive to increase confidence in the people I work with by capturing their best side in lighting that is suitable to them. Everybody is capable of looking great in photographs.
I strive to form positive relationships with those I work with. I do this by listening to what is important and showing I care by following through and going the extra mile.
I strive to be accountable and respond in a timely manner. If I say I am going to do something then I want to overachieve these promises. I show up authentically for the individuals I work with .
"I wanted wedding portraits that I could look at, truly love, and not feel awkward in. From the moment I met Taelynn, I knew I was in good hands. She took the time to really get to know both my husband and me, as well as the people closest to us. Taelynn even went out to our venue before the big day to scout out the best photo spots. Her advice was so helpful, and she made me feel confident throughout the entire process. The photos turned out absolutely stunning and I can't stop looking at them!"
